Shay found herself pulled into the industry of helping others find love after being physically, spiritually and emotionally abused, only to then be abandoned to the life of a single mother with a 5 week old.

This inspired Shay to make a promise to her daughter to do whatever it took to break the cycle of dysfunctional relationships within her family for generations to come.

Her promise led to her launching an experiment of going on over 100 dates within three months, interviewing over 4,000 men, women, and couples, and immersing herself in learning about human behavior and relationships by reading, listening to and studying hundreds of relationship books.
